On the Moto Guzzi

This bike is a Moto Guzzi Le Mans III also from the eighties. It is modified as well. I bought it with most of the work done allready. It has Silent Hektic electronic ignition with twinspark as well as a Silent Hektik charge controller. The barrels are bigger , now 1000 instead of 850 cc resulting in a bigger bang. The clutch is of a special sintered type capable of handling the extra power. Koni shocks replace the stock ones and are much better. I added new brake lines, stainless mufflers and collector, and a brand new-old-stock tank. I purchased the tank and mufflers from www.TLM.nl a great place for guzzi parts. New batery, fluids etc., it is ready to use.

Because I had too many bikes, I said goodbye to this Grand Dame of motoring after a nine year relationship. It was with a little heartache but with confidence that the next owner would take good care of her.

Oh, and the old thumper in the Guzzi category was my very first big bike, a 1972 Moto Guzzi Nuovo Falcone. 500cc single with a huge flywheel and very low rpm's. Sadly I sold it long ago.
